Well, if you already have a strong engine, and intercooler, and have made the necessary fuel modifications, then all you need is an ignition controller, headers and a couple of junkyard T3s from a Thunderbird. They've got great trim for TT V8 setups.
Indeed I did...But I was an original purehonda.com member for 2 years prior But yea, I dropped nearly a grand on the IC(got a deal or it would have been more), spent almost 2 grand on getting everything fuel related set to go. I would have been looking at another 2 - 3 thousand at least on manifolds, body mods, turbos, oiling mods, and custom piping to have what would have been a "shaky" motor at best. Thought it best to pull out before I got too deep into it. Sold the IC off for nearly as much as I payed for it and put that towards the nitrous setup I currently run Much better decision I think in the long run.

Newer SI, like a 99 or somethin.
And yes CJ, he probably was a bit surprised. Probably not as much so as me though. Afterall, he probably knew he was going to lose. He didn't beat me by much to begin with and then I did tell him I was going to run nitrous the next go, so I figure he probably expected a loss. I however had no clue he was boosting like that I heard the BOV when he drove by and raced the WRX, but that doesn't usually mean too much ya know. But anywho, yea good fun.

Why do you say holy shit??
Because thats one fast ass civic!!! He's gotta be pushing at least low 400 hp to the wheels for that kind of acceleration right?

1: ok,,,, I had to say this, people who drives WRX with BOV are slow. I still have the stock one because it is the best. BOV for WRX is just a apprearance,,,, almost a rice mod for me. the stock one redirect the air back to the airbox, aftermarket release the air into engine bay which cause rich condition in between shift.
2: come on people, WRX is slow man, I am sick of all the hype about WRX. I spent about 10g on my WRX and it only reaches mid 11's......
3: good kill, I am so sick of cocky WRX drivers out there, they think WRX is god or something. if I wasn't living in a snow climate, I will for sure get a muscle car......
my next car will be a SVT cobra,,,,,,,,, so I can get into 10's without burning a hole in my wallet.

what WRX drivers fail to remember is that its not a 280hp STI its a 240hp WRX and its a 4 door

still the WRX i drove felt quicker than the Mustang GT that i drove it also felt like it wanted to rip up the tarmac it had so much grip.

what have you bought with 10g's to put on your WRX

Started out as a TNT adjustable kit...underwent a bit of customization though, don't wanna say what just yet I'll take pics next week and you'll see what I mean then, heheh. But yea, it's only jetted for a 150hp shot at the moment, but ready to swap out the jets for a 250hp shot next week for the track!

OMFG!! That must have been a fast Civic. But what the hell: If I had a Z28 V8 I would be happy for the rest of my life!!
