Hmmm, Turbo Diesel looks good!

I would just wonder about the engine, it was developed in a time when Nissan was doing there very best not to spend money..........

It's the YD22, smaller brother to the current Navara's YD25 apparently. Direct injection and 2.2 litres. No factory turbo but that's easy to fix.

Confirmed tonight that the SR18 gearbox is not going to fit. In the process driving 200km along coastal roads with 25 and 35km/h corners. Good thing I have a fwd car that handles.

I just picked up another nissan with the YD22 diesel and 5 speed.

Looks like a new project.
