where do i find the higher stall speed torque converter and tha gear set at. im looking for anything that will make my car alot faster. i know it would be easier just to get a new car but if you think about it.........everyone has a honda or acura.......but how many people have oldsmobiles that kill other imports on a daily basis???????? thats what im shooting for......any help would be greatly appreciated...

WASTE OF MONEy, say it with me. Won't help all that much. Automatics are usually better for serious drag racing. Their only downfall is they rob the car of a tiny bit more power at the wheels. You can launch just as good if not better with an auto, you never have to worry about misshifting, and the auto tranny can outshift you on the best day of your life. With a shift kit, and higher stall you are set. Spend the money on something else. Hundred other things I would do first before even thinking about swapping out and auto for a manual tranny.

Yea but manuals are just fun to drive. More control over the car.

...and you just get that shweet Fast and the Furious 7 shifts, one @ every .6 seconds look when you're driving one. And that really gets the ladies. Shoot, when you're all the way into 5th (in a race, hehe), just shift down to 3rd and start again. They'll never notice.
