Yeah, I agree. If it's in good shape, it really would be a shame to ruin it with winter salts. It's like taking a mint shape '66 Bel Air and using it as a winter car... not the same by all means, but similar concept.

i dont know what the frames like but the bodys ok.. anyways i got a 78 malibu 2 door to worry about anyways.

Around here (Rochester, NY) Caprice coupes are more commonly found as opposed to Malibu coupes. Granted I've only seen about 4 different Caprice coupes total up here, all 1980-1985, none with the newer box style.
