Re: New Nightrider

I saw a commercial for it last night, doesn't do much to impress me.

Looks ghey, will not be tuning in. How dare they take the star of the show and cross contaminate with a FORD?

Re: New Nightrider

Its on tonight! I may have a look to watch it transform into a bug...no, not a VW I mean that thing looks like a real bug.
Remember the writers strike, If they didn't have a professional write the script, it should be quite entertaining in a ridiculously cheesy way.....

Re: New Nightrider

in my opinion, the new movie sucked. Lame story line, bad cgi special effects, etc . Only thing i liked about kitt was the voice. sounded like EDI from stealth. Anyone else notice the extensive use of new Fords in both the movie and comercials ?

Re: New Nightrider

i watched it for a short time,it bored me so fast i turned it.the reason so many fords were in it is because ford sponsored the whole movie.so every commercial and vehicle was pretty much ford.

Re: New Nightrider

heres my opinion:
it was a ford commercial disguised as a bad tv drama series that pays no justice to the original knight rider.

seriously, the acting was bad, and like every car in the show was a ford.
i like how the fusion was keeping up with the gt500KR in the mountain scene. i almost shat myself over that.

yeah, im not watching any more of it

Re: New Nightrider

that would've been a little less bad if it were a fusion... but a freakin SUV, the edge is what was chasing them, and keeping up w/ a "super car"

i was thinking during the whole chase scene, "wow, ford sure is saying a whole lot about their gt500... can't escape from a v6 SUV"

Re: New Nightrider

lol, well either way, yeah, its a crappy scene and a crappy car chasing a gt500kr, which, by the way is the most powerful production mustang yet.

Re: New Nightrider

I'm thinking that the actual car they are using for that show weighed something sick. did anyone see the rear interior. it's like a big computer or some shit. new mustangs already weight a lot imagine with all that movie shit in them. i remmeber reading an article on fast and the furious 2. and the eclipse ran like a 15.2 and the evo like a 14.1.. i think about weird stuff like that in movies. the fact that the actual car is way slower then what they are trying to tell me it is. I like the old show a lot better. anyone remember that show with the dodge viper? it was all decked out with weapons, and could change colors...i remember that show and everytime the dude was being chaced it was by 5 dodge stealths lol

I saw a new G8 this past sunday. The guy that ownes it works at this f-body shop called new era performance. i know they will be doing some sweet mods to it. this same guy used to own a cobalt ss with 280whp. they have a lot of sweet as cars that are associatted with that shop. One customer/friend of theres has a turbo z06 that runs like low 11's on 7psi. i raced the z06 at the track and he completely pulled away after 60ft.
