Ever since winter/cold temps came I've been seeing a lot a bad gas milage threads. I'm HOPING that that's the cause, winter & cold temps because 12 mpg just isn't cutting it for me haha.

Re: 2004 GTP Bad Gas Mileage

Hey i had a terrible problem with gas, with my 99 gtp i mean i was gettin 9-11 mpg...TERRIBLE..and that was with new o2 sensors, fuel pump/filter/MAF/spark plugs/wires/ basically new everything as my car was a project car...now what was funny was i got my entire exhaust checked and got the resonator fixed, but after much asking and reading around AF, it was suggested to replace my cat. converter..now when i got it tested at Cole muffler they told me there was nothing wrong with it....but i could NOT figure out why my gas was so terrible, so i said F it and spent $260 and got my cat. converter fixed....from the time i drove my car out the shop until now, my car is getting 18-27 mpg...so i dont kno if thats ur problem but then again i didnt think it was mine either!!!...and btw i live in buffalo, cold and snowy, so i assume my mpg will be even higher when it warms up
