lets start from the beginning

now, exactly which tanabe exhaust did you get? they make different kinds for your taste. some are loud, some are quite.....................be more specific, you probably got the small quite one for all we know.................:smoker2: :smoker2:

Hyper and Super(Racing) Medallions are the only ones I knew of!! And both of them sounds reasonably the same!

My definition of sound is that when i hit the gas it doesn't make any sound... but when one of my friends does it with their car you can hear it so much better.

This is where I got my Cat-back... the resonator isn't as big as the one in the pic though.

I got racing medallion and I really don't know what the problem is. When I had the d16z6 it was still damn loud. I say you'd have to have the silencer in for you to not be able to hear it. Look in your tip. If there's a bolt in the bottom of the tip. Take out the silencer.

either that, or they sent u a stock exhaust w/ the tanabe logo stamped on it j/k.

No silencer... checked it twice to make sure. IDK hopefully when I get my Hi-flow cat installed i'll notice a difference.
