I found a Civic SiR... Wanted to know how much it cost him to import... the badge. :o

Right behind him in traffic was a Honduh complete with an APC sticker. Funny, I thought Honda was based out of Japan...

I sure hope he didn't pay too much, since he could drive up here and get one for $5...the Canadian Si has factory SiR badges

yeah in Canada, the Si is the same as your EX, so our "high performance" Civic is called the SiR. he might have ganked the badge off of one of our cars, or maybe he actually owns a Canadian SiR...but still! lol.

and APC, while still an american company, makes the majority of their parts for honduhs. to me, it stands for American Piece of Crap. i mean, they make "brake disc simulators", fake disc brakes that you bolt on top of your drums so you don't look like the poor bastard that you are, and "show tubes", which is a roll cage that you install, but in the ad it says "warning, show tubes are strictly for show purposes and should not be relied on to save lives in the event of an accident." not to mention the fact that they're the company behind the Altezza-light sellout.

I actually bought an APC "SiR" badge as well as APC "Type R" shoulder pads for my winter beater (91 Civic Wagon) and was amused to see that on the package for the shoulder pads there all kinds of instructions on the back, but it is all in Jap words (Kanji? is that what its called?) and no english instructions.. not that you need instructions for shoulder pads...
Do APC even sell stuff in Japan or what? or is that just for looks?

they sell stuff in Japan, and sadly some morons over there ruin their good Japan-only cars with APC parts. surprisingly, there is a very small rice scene in Japan, and just like we on this side of the pond thrive for JDM, some of the car people over there do their cars up "USDM". for instance, the Lexus GS is sold in Japan as the Toyota Aristo, but the "USDM" fans in Japan will slap Lexus GS400 badges on it.
