you can piggyback off your stock ecu. and no you wont need a chip upgrade. the piggyback comp takes care of that

which ecu will i need for the ZC or do i use my existing??

get the ecu from that engine. or find another ecu from another car that had a ZC engine. either way you need the ZC ecu
