traction control at 1
asm at 0
sim tires
front tires toe angle out
rear tires toe of 0
suspension stiffer in the rear than front, but overally stiff
lsd, flywheel, cluttch and drivetrain parts are a must to maximize sifting in between gears

Re: Settings for Street Drifting

I didn't even think about drifting in GT3. Its been a while since I played, and I went and messed with a little, and I forgot how to turn the TCS and stuff off. Can someone please help me. I feel like such a noob, but anyways, using a Skyline with 1000+ hp is going to be pretty fun.

Re: Settings for Street Drifting

what should be the hp range for drifting? does it really matter, just as long as you have enough power to spin the tires?

Re: Settings for Street Drifting

the RX8 is the ultimate drift car. Not overly difficult to control, it doesn't spin its tires relentlessly on take off, and it can be driven like a normal race car, until you shift the weight of flick it and get on the throttle, then it drifts with the best of 'um. I could never get my AE86 to drift right, it spins to easily, but the RX8 worked perfect the first time.

the AE86 is a very fun car to drift i can get it to slide just by turning the wheel. and that's with teh stickiest tires i can get. it only has 384 hp and if i turn to fast, i spin. my R32 is fun, i have the VCD set so all the power goes to the rear, and it has stock suspension. getting it to slide with the super soft tires can be tricky, but once it goes sideways, it sticks, and getting it out can be tricky sometimes, cause when it's pegged at 90 degrees, it is very unstable, let off the gas, it spins, tap the brake it spins, so your best bet is to mash the gas and shift up. that's how i get the grip back. i think i'll do something to make it better. like put sim tires on it. and the AE86, i'll post my settings, tell me how ya like them or hate them.

Spring rate: 5.3 Front, 6.2 rear
ride hight: 116 front and rear
shock bound: 9 front 6 rear
shock rebound: 7 front 7 rear
camber 2 front 1 rear
stablizers: 5 front 6 rear
limited slip initial:19
accel: 40
deaccel: 20

as for everything else, they are fully dect out with a turbo charger. the gearing, you people play with them on your own. i top out on the Complex String at teh end of the long straight

Re: Settings for Street Drifting

i can drift in any AWD car in GT3 all u have to do is put the TCS-1 and the ASM-0. BUT this is if you are good enough.
