At Daytona, i think two years ago, during one of the SCCA races, i rember a civic HB that blew his engine. It was a 91 with a teg type r in it. The guy was shiftin from fourth to third, missed third and hit first. It wasn't pretty. The guy said that he supposed to be turning 9000 rpm in third so do the math and wonder why the guy blew his motor. When they went to go take the head off, the valves had welded to the piston.
I cried, the guy luaghed and said that the type r motors are pieces of shit.
