Yo man, can U explain how U did those "H" and RX7 emblems again? I am confused but that sounds interesting, I want to try it.

thank you all for your comments.
to answer some of the questions:
1. the tires (tyres) and wheels are all stock. they came with the kit. the back wheels were wider.
2. I hear you Fly, later today i will pick some putty up and will take the time to try to see which one of the unbuilt models i already own will have some modifications
3. the interior of the RX7 is painted a mix of deck tan, clear and a touch or orange.
4. the tail lights were painted as the instructions said. i masked with tape and airbrushed gloss black, then i brush painted the orange and red. nothing special.

thanks again for you interest. soon i will post a poll to help me decide what kind of body work i will attempt next.

Gladly! the technique was taken from Hiroaki's webpage which is loaded with great ideas and how to apply them. here is the link to the page on his site that describes how to use BMF and epoxy glue to make emblems and scripts. http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~xr2h-fkd...mboxster03.htm

Still need help. I am confused about the 3rd step, next to the 3rd picture. It says "When the epoxy is hardened, I turn it over again and paint the body color, since it's almost impossible to trim the spaces between the letters." I do not understand it. Can U please explain that to me? The picture itself is confusing too. I don't get what he is doing.

it is a bit confusing but what i take it to mean is that you paint it like the body color so that when you cut it out, anything that you missed will be the same color as the car. brush painting is the best way to do it. paint around the script and then thin the paint and let it flow into the grooves of the letters. finally, i would lightly polish or rub out any paint that is on the letters so that they shine and are clearly readable. hope that clears things up somewhat. have fun with it... i certainly did. Thanks to Hiroaki that is
