I hear you about the troubles on that Firebird model. I've just done a rebuild on mine, I found the engine in that 1:24 78 Trans Am completely off scale, I mena my 1:25 400 Pontiac engine is bigger then the 1:24 "403" which that kit is meant to have. I hate the little shit carbie they provide aswell, sure you can't see it with the heat extractor on but its a disgrace for a carb to be that small! Can't wait to see them done the Bird loks great so far!

I'm repainting the Z because german grey is shit. It is flat, and no matter how much i polish and wax, it never turns into a mirror. Thanks Lowriders for the info. To me, the engine doesn't look out of scale at all. Maybe its cuz im just used to seeing 4 cylinders
 . Ah well, i painted it last night, and swapped the custom rims for the streets. They look better. Hope to get some pics up too. Thanks all for the comments.
