no, It really was not all that fun. First what you have to do is when you take off you existing tail lights go and get some plexy glass then take off the outer housing of the taillights. You will need a heat gun or something along those lines.
Take the plexy and match it up to the outer shell of the stock taillight. mark where the corners are so you can cut the plexy to fit the housing. Then you will want to heat up the plexy so that you can bend it. Bend it around the stock so it looks almost identical. You must do this slow, do not over heat the plexy or it will look weird and wavy. then when you get the desired form goto like checker or some place that sells the tape that you use to like fix taillights. you will need the clear stuff and the red stuff if you want the half and half look. put that on the inside of the plexy. after that get some silicone and electrical tape. silicone the plexy onto the housing and put some tape around the edges so that you can't see the silicone. and just like that you are done

Lush number plate (licence plate) on that green car, what is it?
over in the UK you have to have at least one letter and one number in you plate, which sucks, i found C1VCS (civics) for £1000 though which i am thinkin' of gettin' once i've saved up some cash!
