i hope not...

if it's a teg vs a gst or gsx, the eclipse will win...

against almost any teg...

a gsr wouldn't do much against a car with considerably more power...

ok i have a gst and i hit 148 and then mister speed limiter kicked in while my friend wit his vr4 passed me at 155....now for gs's i think they got a 130 limit not positive, and i know gsx's limiter is lower than mine due to the increased weight of the awd drivetrain, my friend's tsi awd hit like 140..which is the limit

gs rs and gst are all limited at 130, AWD models have no speed limiter they just run out of juice at about 145, just inside the V speed rating of the tires. The rest have H rated tires so 130 for them.

You are a moron...

2G FWD cars have a speed limiter which cuts off fuel at 130 MPH. This is because the stock H-rated tires are only rated up to 130 MPH.
This is taken from a site that has been know for years and is not wrong.
http://members.shaw.ca/costall/1000Q/

If your car is a 99 it might have v rated tires, then it wouldn't have the speed limiter. And you obviously do not understand drivetrain loss.

Actually it can be done, i have a Eclipse GSX all stock and i have got it up to 155, it took me 2 miles to do it but i have it on tape, side by side with a 2000 Acura GSR!! so i can be done it just takes awhile to get it up there, and yes it was without the govenor, brand new when i bought the car with it in i could only do 135. :smoka:
