Good idea Zeljko. I'd even try and get an entry in if you specified other competition categorys each month or so. Like F1, sportscars, touring cars, etc as well as Rally.

Sounds like a good idea...i'm in.
The one thing i think we do need to be careful off is having contest's to often.
IMO The AF Model of the year has to be the "highlight" of the year....maybe 4-6 smaller ones like your rally one, the ITR one and maybe a seperate Skyline/EVO/WRX ?? contest during the year.

Just my 2 cents worth

I got bunch of positive answers on RCMG and AF and I decided that we WILL HAVE one rally model contest.

Also there is already one sponsor here! Wong will give one set of his decals for winner. Thanx Wong!

About rules, I didn't think to change anything in BMOM rules.
BUT if there will be enough models to we can make different categories for
super detailed and almost from the box (including OOB), and another for 1/43
scale I will make it.

BUT so far there is only one award for RALLY modelers. Another one which I
can get for car contest will not be rally thing. For few categories so far I
will not have enough rally awards, but we will see...

I have one question for you now. When you want contest, in March or April?

But seriously, April is good, and so is March, either/or.....I am happy to go with the common opinion on when you would like to have the contest staged.

I have a 99 Safari Impreza upstairs. I'll go ahead and start it and the C5R rather than a Duster and C5R. Why not do a race car contest?
