In most cases oz is right...you DONT need a high flowing fuel pump in most N/A platforms....where you DO need a higher flowing fuel pump is in cases where you are running 300+ horsepower on MOTOR alone. There would basically be no point to it, especially if you didnt upgrade your injectors and fuel rail as well...if you are only going to be making 200-240 hp, i definitly wouldnt bother with it, not worth the money imPo (Professional, and that I am.

(And I maintained the whole time that I was only talking about NA motors <220-230hp, which is what was being discussed).

H22a JDM is my suggestion. My friend just did the swap (he's debugging some few glitches now). But his car moves like you wouldn't believe. It is one of the hardest if not the hardest swap. You have to buy all new mounts, run a different shift linkage, axles may not be as big of a deal as they are with civics however (since with a civic you're supposed to use Integra ones anyways). So even though you can get the engine, ecu, tranny, sensors etc; it's still fairly costly and very time consuming. If it sounds too much like a hassle then go with a B18c of some sort; it'd still be sick.

HERE TO HELP YOU OUT:
B16A= 1595cc/DOHC VTEC/160BHP/ B18C1(GSR USDM or JDM)= 1797cc/DOHC VTEC/170hp B16B (Civic Type-R)=1595cc/185bhp/DOHC VTEC B18C5(TEG Type-R)=1797cc/DOHC VTEC/200bhp H22(Prelude)=2156cc/158ft lb torque/190bhp Come on guys help him out, don't confuse him leave that up to the shops. Just go with the B18's they are easier to swap. The B18C5 is what they call perfectly tuned you might not want to TURBO that engine. With the GSR B18C1 TURBO it and you will have to do other mods to your engine when going turbo like new fuel rails and regulator. Stuff like that. Then mash on that Mustang

Get a Vtec head, a set of cams, springs, retainers, and cam gears, some .5MM over CTR pistons, GSR or ITR tranny, and a hytech header with full 2.5" exhaust. Don't waste your money getting a GSR motor, JDM or otherwise. For the money you save yourself by not buying one of those you can make your car a whole lot faster.

Don't go wit the lude motor.Only cuz it is heavier, and will throw off the balance of your car.The 1.8 is a far better motor in terms of reliability, and durability.

mellowboy, u dont need a upgraded fuel pump - the stock honda ones are plenty unless u start mamking some big numbers - if u need more fuel start with a adjustable FPR, I was running a fairly desent shot of nitrous on my motor with several mods and I didnt need a bigger fuel pump - there was no need
