I love that show. I've had several people pull guns on my agents, but none have been shot. the worst thing was this lady who made her kids lie down under the tires so my agent could not move the car.

I am a Tool maker/design engineer for New Zealand's leading Aluminum Extrusion tooling manufacturer.

I work in an office most of the day but do get to do down and get dirty programming and operating various CNC equipement such as 4 axis mills, EDM wire cuttng, and Spark Eroding.

Need a career change after 19 years engineering is getting old.

Unemployed right now, but things look good for a job stacking crates full of sprouts for $6 CAD/hour(farm wages, I get taxed less :/ ).

I'm getting involved in running a small candy stall, the sort of one you see in the mall, or anywhere you'll find stoners

I'm reopening my shop, as soon as I can lay my hands on a welder, and then all I need is a scissor lift! That's going to run me $1500 or so :o
I like to think the shop is more of a hobby than an income source, but who knows, maybe once I start doing business around here, I'll make some good money!

I'm a Visitor Information Officer...basically I sit on my ass in the info centre and wait for a tourist or someone to come in asking for directions, brochures, accomodation etc...actually quite fun, I get to meet people from around the world, and the money's not bad for a part time job...I need a fulltime one now though

My official title is: SOFT TOOLING/NC PROGRAMMER

Basically, I develop programs for machinery that is used in the production of printed circuit board assemblies for Agilent Technologies (which used to be a part of Hewlett Packard). So, I generate programs for the high-speed machines that place all the surface-mount components on the circuit boards, and the machines that dispense liquid solder mask onto the boards. The main machines that I work with are CNC routers that are used to route the circuit boards from the panels.

But, due to the economic state of the tech industry as of late, business is pretty slow, and the company is taking the opportunity to outsource ALL of their manufacturing work to Malaysia, so I will be losing my job within the next year.

Anyways, also, since business has been slow, all I do is post on AF for 8 hours a day hahaha...

Only difference is you get more idiots on boats than you do cars. Cause even though you're technically not allowed to drink on the water people still do and the authorities dont say much.

Thus we got lots of boaters just rammin the dock, it was my job to make sure they didnt hurt anybody, damage equipment, and make sure they're properly tied off.

Bad side.. almost got killed twice working there due to 2 idiots... Plus side it was summer time so tons of bikini clad women came by in boats looking for beer, ice, snacks, and the restroom... I became their bestfriend when it came to that bathroom ill tell ya what. hahah

Fun times... except almost dieing... that sucked. But Bikini women make up for it!

Yeah, true, I have all too many stories that people don't believe from working at a gas station. YOu will find the dumbest people at gas stations.

Also, I'm looking for a new job since mine only pays me $6.50 per hour, no vacation, no benefits, and I have to clean fat fryers. I would mind if I could get time off and make more than $7.00 per hour, but that isn't happening so I am looking for a better one, besdies that was my plan all along when getting this job. For the time I just needed some steady income. I'll ride this out until I find a better job.

See this means my theory is true. With me, you, and RedNeck all having the same stupid crap happen, gas stations must be primal gathering places for idiots.

Well I'm a senior in HS right now, but I'm going to technical school in the fall for diesel mechanics. I recently got fired from a auto parts store for "being rude" to a customer. All I did was tell him time and time again that we didn't have any of those LEDs that replace your windshield wiper things. He complained about it and said I yelled at him. This summer I plan on joining a road crew for the State Division of Highways.

Im a philosophical truck driving lotus fixing do it all.

Basicly I drive a bread truck as my main income, and work casualy for NZ's only Lotus service agent/dealer. Get to work on some pretty exotic cars and plenty of classics. www.lotus.co.nz only about 1/3 of the work is on Lotus's. The rest of on other classic and exotic cars, and the odd Japa.


I might however have a new job come Monday that will entail starting my own company. But we'll see.

I work shiftwork in a cheese processing factory.We make that wonderful stuff that goes into your Big Mac,your Whopper,and on top of your pizza.My job is to marshall the various ingredients for the production crews,and maintain the database that accounts for our inventory.It pays well,but it's damn hard work.
