The Hotshot header is the best one available for the SR20.
hi hi I have to agree!!

I have just ordered a HS header only with the O2 sensor!

I have heard from several people that HS rocks, so I don't think you will be disappointed!

Yes.

The header is the same for the B13/B14/P10/P11. I've seen this header bolted to a B15, but I understand they actually make a different one for the B15. I don't have first hand knowledge of this however.

Question

I was also thinking of getting HS headers, but do I need the AIV and EGR holes? Obviously I would need the 02 sensor.

a lot is 2 words not one, just to let you know.
as for the header 190 is very cheap. the hotshot is 475 and jwt is 450. i think jwt sells the hotshot header, but regardless 190 is very cheap. i don't know about the quality of their products b/c of the cheap price(cheap-no good, good-no cheap). if you do get them and they turn out to be good, i would definitly buy them also.

Well, $190 is certainly cheap. I know nothing about the OBX header. A lot of people have talked about it, but I know of no one who actually has one. I personally don't see how they could even offer it for that given the cost of the components alone.

So, if they are OK, you saved a bundle. If they are a POS, you flushed your cash down the toilet.

Hehe, I like that. :hehehe:

I'd wager that the silver coating is just silver paint. It'll probably burn off in the first 5 minutes. But Someone's bound to know.

i hope you guys would trust me on this one and DONT put stuff like obx or tenzo R stuff on your cars...at least not on the G20s, it's all designed for cheap Honduhs...anyway, i can get you a HS header for $425. i can get you an obx for 175..but why???? the paint is gonna come off and it's gonna crack...

Luke, have you ever seen anyone actually install an OBX header and use it for an extensive period of time on an SR20DE? How about dyno runs? If the OBX actually proves to improve HP and torque, aren't you prejudging the product. Then again it probably is a POS! But I would like to see some tests that prove it actually is a POS.

Unfortunately, I don't currently have the funds to do such a test.

I know there are individuals out there that might not be able to fork over $425-500 for the best, but can fork over $175-190 for mediocre.

Just wonderin' if anyone has bought the OBX headers for the SR20DE and can actually give first hand testimonials that they suck, the paint chips off and that they crack.
