Hey Nuno, Looking groovy Don't forget about the Alpine - I'm looking forward to that one most of all!! How many projects you got on the go now?

Don't know about the colour of the seats but I guess we're talking about the sixties so anything is possible

The flat pink color is actually correct, I found some reference photos on the web that showed it as that color......until I saw the photos I couldn't believe it either.
Considering the car had a relatively stock interior with the exception of some mods for the rally it is not surprising.

Thanks for your comments. Is nice to see you interested in this progress thread.

RallyRaider (love your work) currently I’m working on four projects. The Alpine A110, the Mini Cooper, and two CLK DTM. I’m almost finishing the body paint of one of the CLK and hope to post some pictures soon. The other CLK (the Original-Teile one) is on hold due to a lack of AS-20.

Thanks for the tip Ray I didn’t found any picture of the interior and was with serious doubts about this colour mix.

Fooesboy, as requested here is an engine photo.

Nuno,

I found a decent number of images on Google.com, and even some of the Alpine Renault by doing a search for Monte Carlo rally instead of for the specific car....I know it may be a bit late now, but I only did the search today when I was passing time.....

Body is ready to be fixed in the chassis.
No main tips since this model is really easy to build.
Simple and beautiful as Sir Alec Issigonis idealised.
I only have some minor work to do before I finish this project so I hope to post some final pics this week.
I truly recommend this model, especially for the rally lovers.
Not also is fun to build this one but you also will enrich you collection with a classic of all times.

window frames

Nuno,

I like the detail you have in the quarter windows. My 356 has rubber weatherstripping around the chrome as well. Mind posting any tips on how to make it as nice as yours?

Thanks, NICE work!
