AAAANYWAY! i read aobut some dudes potato cannon that was 20 feet long, and could launch a potato at ~800mph. They are currently working on a 40 foot version that on paper, could launch a potato at 1600mph (mach 2!!) have a vertical ranghe of 15 THOUSAND feet, and horizontal of 5 miles!!!

in Morton, Illinois(my parent's hometown and my relatives town) have a pumpkin launching contest. they build huge cannons and they go upwards of a mile!
