Reversing milage on odometer using drill

In CA it doesn't matter cause when u sell a car u can just check the box on the title that states the odometer mileage is not correct.

im gonna do this for myself. I got a new Si cluster a while back. The Si cluster says it has 256,000 mile on it , nut my car only has 126,000 so i want to reset the Si cluster to read the 126,00

There is a similar piece of paper in MD - If you sell a car private party, there is a checkbox I think on the title that says something to the effect of - 'to the best of my knowledge, the odometer reading is correct' - if you purchase a car from a dealer (even used), they give you a little signed form that says the same thing and when you sign it at delivery you both agree that mileage is correct.

I was personally hoping to get my ZC installed around the 200K mark on my odometer, but I haven't had time to get it in yet. I am up to 206k - You know....the shitty little 1.5 may not have any horsepower, but I drive the crap outta that thing, and it runs and runs and runs...I only hope my ZC will be as reliable. :licker:

Here's a form from the DMV. Look where the Odometer info is & you'll c the box to check for "not actual mileage", this same box is also on the pink slip.
