Ok, so I understand that it would be better to use a hydraulic system ...
I really would like to see the system from the inside of the vehicle cause now I really don't understand how they move the door parallel from the vehicle and afterwards going up.

Could I easily make this system (hydraulic) myself ?
And would it cost much ?

I just need the hydraulic material and the plans. ( and a manual maybe ) LOL
The work itself I can do myself ( I hope )

Ps : i know my email account is full
You can only use for MSN ==> http://messenger.msn.de/download/download.asp?client=1

then use my email adress to ADD me to the list and then we can talk online .... instead of always using this forum ..

GREETZ & thanx again ...

Mathieu

I don't think theres really a defined 'kit' per se. Rather its a custom fabrication job using hydaulic pumps etc

taken from streetweaponkits.com:

Doors
Not an exciting modification? Think again! Suicide, Gull-Wing, or Lamborghini we can swing your way. We develop custom mechanisims and custom hydrolics for each application, and if you want it to go up on it's own we'll double shock it! If your car is bone stock, but the doors lift Lamborghini style when you exit the vehicle you will still turn every head in the parking lot!
btw how did you get a Mustang Cobra in belgium? didn't think Ford Europe exported them there

Try:

www.decah.net

They make bolt-on kits for doors like that.

Right, Now this is rough but its free so all i ask is that you give credit for the design to me and if you create a succseful company out of it a cushy R&D Directorship would be nice I did not copy any plans of anyone else any similarities to anyelses plans is coincedental
any way some fundementals not in the plan
Sensors and switches so the door dont close on you and the motor stops when fully
opened or closed
Keep the door weight down if you must have a huge stereo with 3 way splits and 8 inch subs in the door move them
the spline should probably be on the door side
use stainless and titaniun billet parts think about your constuction make it easy to replace bearings & stuff
keep an emergency glass hammer in your vehicle (should always have anyway)
The hard part is the space in which you have to do all this but this would still be the easiest to make yourself there are other ways though

I think what CI5IC is implying is that most of the cars that they make kits for on that website are also sport compacts and accordingly would have doors of similar size and weight so with some minor fabrication work it would not be too difficult to fit one of these kits to a 306.

But unless you're working with a kit like this one (even then..) it is definately not a DIY job... contact a good shop to perform the conversion for you.

if you have faith in your abillity you can do what ever you put your mind to regardless of task
Only DIY anything if you trust your abillity and know the risks
or if your STUPID

Hey lambodoors, I can't find anything about the system on your site.
Only 2 nice pictures but that's all.
If you designed the system could you tell me how you did to get the doors parallel from the car before going up.
It's the part where you bring the doors next to the car ( before they go up ) that I don't understand.

Thnx 4 replying ...
