Its short lengths of round wood. You usually see it inside joints in furniture especially the stuff you put together yourself.

Sometimes it has ridges all the way round going lenthways, dont use that. Find nice smooth stuff and all you need to do is cut to length and round one end to look like a bottle.

Sweet, that wooden dowling trick just solved my problems I'm having with finding/making parts for a drag truck I'm about to start on. Thanks alot UKSupraboy!
