A couple that I am attempting at the moment:-

1) R32 Shootingbrake (station wagon)
2) S14 racecar (see sig)
3) Sard Supra with one piece lifting rear and Ferrari F50 engine and suspension etc. So far have built the F50 rear setup and hope to start on body as soon as the 2 Nissans are finished.
4) Any other wierd ideas I come up with (gotta at least try 'em all!)

I'd like to convert a Back to the Future DeLorean into a street DeLorean with a scratchbuilt chassis and engine, plus opening doors/hood/trunk. Also, a "stainless steel" finish via aluminum foil.

We'll see how that one goes...

Re: Your dream conversion project

I have one that I have the 2 kits for and have looked into a little. It is a New Mini converted into a WRC Car. I have chosen to use a Peugot 206 as the WRC base.
Cant wait till I can get into it!
Just have to wait till my skills can match up with my imagination!

Re: Your dream conversion project

I'd like to do an RB26 and full engine bay and trunk detail into an R31 GTS-R kit... Or Maybe an RB20 from the aoshima cefiro done up to look like an ECCS Red top RB20DET-R....
I'd like to get an old fujimi R31 pillarless sedan kit , move the rear pillars to a steeper angle, and add B-pillars, so it could represent an Aussie market R31.
'tis about it !

Half cut S2000; half the body and half the frame, suspension and motor to show off the awesome X-frame chassis and the engine. Wee!

Wow!
Lots of Ferrari's in this list.
here's mine. Ferrari 512TR to F512M.
I'd do it in a minute if Tamiya had done a TR...The Revell kit is, well, revell and the Rosso TR is getting a little 'dear' for cutting up. Then there's the wheels. I think the closest ones are in the Tamiya Mythos kit, and references are hard to come by, even with the Web.
