Got that covered, disconnect battery and pull the fuse from the fuse/relay box. www.shbox.com has some great write-ups with pics and stuff. But I think everyone knows about that place.

Re: Security Light

Ok, so I checked the purple/white wires from the ignition lock and they sent signal back fine. I heard that something is making a clicking sound when I try to start it. Its not the starter, but something either from under the column or around the firewall. What would be making that clicking sound but not engaging the starter? I may just have to replace the cylinder lock, I don't know yet. All that alarm wiring was a PITA to get around also.

Re: Security Light

the clicking is your starter relay tripping its killing your starter and injecters. just do what i said earlier i bought the plug bypass from ecklers camaro but i dont need it it's in a drawer right now. i could of saved 38 bucks if i knew about this at the time. trust me its easy

Re: Security Light

If it's coming from inside the cabin, it could be your BCM. If your bettery is ever too low to crank the car over, and you try to start it, you'll hear this clicking from inside.. that's the BCM. In case you're not sure what the BCM would sound like, in that situation you can hear it.

Just another thought.

Re: Security Light

But isn't the BCM/TDM under the passenger-side dash? The clicking I am hearing sounds like it is coming from the the middle-to-driver's side. Possibly somehwere around the firewall.
Well, actually, there are two clicks. One I found to be coming from the fuse panel that is in the engine bay. But the other is hard to locate.

I would, but I don't know if it would work with my new alarm, since it kills the motor if the alarm goes off. I looked at the wiring, and a lot of wires are plugged into a central alarm module under the dash. Its hard as hell to locate anything down there anymore.
