dude ur car's engine is making 275hp...that's what i'm getting to the ground. and 13.5 is what i'm making on stock parts with no mods to nething...and a grinding 3rd gear...my car was only made with a 5spd manual

where'd you get that number from? LT1 f-bodies are rated at 285hp to the flywheel bone stock, and LS1's (the engine in my car) are rated at over 300 bone stock,, which my car is not. "to the ground" my car should be well over 275, and LS1 f-bodies run 13.5's and lower all day long -- bone stock,, which my car is not. I'm not knocking your car at all,, but please don't pull facts out of your ass.

Everyone welcome to Vector! He is one of our 3/S guys. The only problems is that he pulls his facts from his mind (AKA whatever he wants to believe). LS1's are rated at an underrated 305 or so HP.

I looked for the quote but i couldnt find it, i have a stage 2 5-speed transmission. Didnt add 2 my mod list becuase i didnt think of it as a mod since i burned up my stock clutch and just replaced it with the 5-speed tranny i have now.

honostly i didnt look at his engine ci...just saw v8. which on 93+ f bodies pushes around 275hp...maybe what i read was 275 to the ground...i could b wrong i'm not saying i'm perfect

and as for fact's i dont pull em out of my ass

notice i didnt say nething about the svx hp rating or nething...cause i dont know nething about the car other than it has awd(which is only cause i know its a subaru)

What is a Stage 2 Five speed? Is that like the stage 2 transmission from Need for Speed Underground? Does it have a bunch of Stage 2 parts? What makes it seperate from stage 3 or 1?

When it comes to anyone's "4speed automatic" and it's racing capabilities, i'd like to make one thing certain: If you change the timing, and know how to launch off the line- the car is just as good if not better than your 5speed. Just because you manual drivers lose time on human error.

As for the 'Stage 2' debate. The only time I've seen a 'stage 2' anything was on turbo kits. A transmission is a complete system. What did you change? The clutch, flywheel, gears and pulleys, add a short shifter? I mean, you gotta list the mods, because a short-shifter and lighter clutch is not the same as changing the pulleys.
I'm not gonna call B.S, because I've seen my Slowbalt take a Mustang out. But the kid couldn't drive for shit, and panicked once we broke 100mph. Maybe the same happened to the S2k. All things considered- he had the better car.

The only people I know that use Stage for their tranny parts are Spec Clutches.

Those svx come with 230 hp stock and the 4 speeds only do 0-60 in 7.3 seconds back in 1992. Now lets say you do have the 5 speed with a stage 2 clutch. I would put you at 6.7 witht the miles you have on the car. Add your mods and maybe 6.2. I'm sorry if I'm wrong but my stock tsi would run right next to you pretty much to sixty and you might pull away a little. Now I've lost to stock s2000's. They pull 1 car length by 60 and fly from there. Now ill get them 0-30 coming outa first but they kill me after. But it is street racing, he could have bad tires that don't grip. But after 100 it shoukld have been over. If it did happen good kill and I would love to have a run stock with my car.

That's a fast Impreza, but considering that Impreza had some engine work and weighs about 500lbs less than the SVX, it doesn't really represent what a SVX can do.

I mean obviously it's questionable when a 230hp 3600lb SVX beats a 240hp 2800lb S2000, especially when the SVX starts pulling on the top end? I'd believe the SVX took the holeshot but pulling 2 more lengths in 5th gear is ? in my book. With AWD drivetrain loss and 10 less hp it seems unlikely.
