Re: cd\dvd\mp3 head unit?

ok srry bout all of the posts but i looked up the cheaper version of it which is the DDX6019 http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entert..._Video/DDX6019

so my question is should i get the cheaper version for around the price of 450 which is in my price range or should i spend around 700 for the DDX7019 and would i realy be getting that much less if i went with the cheap version that i would regret it later?

Re: cd\dvd\mp3 head unit?

You will probably be all right with the cheaper one. You get to add custom graphics if you get the other. The addition of a USB input is the only difference really.

Re: cd\dvd\mp3 head unit?

Well, they both share the same screen specs so I assume they are the same screen.
Picture quality should be okay, if you really want great picture quality then see if ebay has a used Alpine DD sized model that fits your budget. My Pioneer receiver has the same picture quality as the Kenwood models (pixelwise) and while its all right, I don't believe it will impress people who really care about picture quality. I did not buy mine for the picture quality.

Re: cd\dvd\mp3 head unit?

I dunno what the bass control is. I assume you can adjust the bass volume with it like most other decks. I also don't know what form of security feature(s) it has, but i'm sure it has something. I wouldn't really worry about the deck getting stolen though. I mean its a monitor with no buttons or anything. I think it would be much easier to attempt to steal a single DIN receiver versus the double sized one. I guess the best advice is to tint the windows and get an alarm system, roughly 300 bucks worth of security.

tinting the windows, putting nice rims on, altezza lights, stickers, etc .. just lets other people know you have a nice system.
