He has already talked to various toy companies and there is a diecast model on the way, don't know about anything plastic.

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

it has to be a reboxed Revell kit. I don't see Fujimi tooling up an Enzo. and it being priced so cheap. you can get a Tamiya Enzo off Ebay for the same price.

I wish they would tool an 08 Subie WRX. and i'd be game for a VW Gti.

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

You can get the Revell Enzo for 17$ from any Michaels craft store. Last time I checked anyway...

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

I’m so happy that at least one company keeps doing interesting and good things! Well with Revell AG we can talk of two, no matter if they do repeated stuff that has already been done by other companies, but the important thing is that they are still thinking about us, not like Tamiya that is dead in the car modeling area “Once the best models now awful toys” somebody said somewhere…

I also think like Hiroaki, that it should be new tool, based on the price; we will have to wait, and that GTI !! I already preordered TWO! Those are great news! And with the quality of the last toolings (like the Cayman) I’m so happy.

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

Boxart is now available at the HLJ link in the first post. 110 parts (to be honest, I don't know how that compares to either of the existing Enzo kits).

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

I hope the new kit of the Ferrari Enzo is a simple kerbside with the same quality of the more recent Fujimi releases.I know the Tamiya kit is the excellent all singing, all dancing version, but for me it is too fussy with all the opening doors and the full engine detail. But I would like an Enzo on the shelf,so a good kerbside kit with all the doors and such molded shut would fit the bill just fine.I hope the 599 GTB includes the 20" Challenge style wheels, but looking at the box art I doubt it does.I wish some one would release these wheels, the 599 looks so much better with them fitted in my opinion. They look 100% better than the original 'star' type wheels.

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

I just looked up the Revell Enzo, it has 145 parts, and the Fujimi has 110. Maybe it is a new tool!

Oh, I'd be beyond thrilled for a kit that included a full engine of the 65-AMG motor. And the SL55-AMG motor with the super... God what I'd find to drop those engines into...

Yes, I know you can get a worked over 55-AMG motor in the SLR, but that's too worked over...

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

Fujimi's ad says all-new, (plus neither Tamiya nor Revell has 110 parts as mentioned above) so the Enzo is Fujimi's own kit.

I worried about the chassis of the new Golf GTI, but it'll also be all-new, so is the Lexus LS600h.

(Incidentally, Aoshima's releasing the Toyota Harrier, known in some countries as the Lexus RX350.)

Four new tools this fall. That's more than enough for me, personally.

I guess we'll just have to wait for Tamiya's surprise No.300, which I think, will be a crappy curbside kit of the new GT-R, with an extremely simplified chassis, fixed front wheels and bland interior (but with excellent body, wheels and tires)!

Interesting. Aoshima likes to do SUVs. Hopefully, like their Lexus LS430, they'll release a Lexus version of the Harrier.

Re: Huh? Another Enzo kit?

Talking about strange news. Seems like Tamiya is realeasing a Lamborghini Countach LP 400. Does anybody know soemthing about this one? I know that Fujimi used to do an Enthusiast-Version of this one. If it is new tooling by Tamiya it might be worth taking a peek at!

It's not strange news at all. It's a very old tool; one of Tamiya's first 1/24 car kits. Originally molded in blue, I have a reissue in white. Very simple kit, nice proportions, somewhat crude chassis, much easier to build than any of the Fujimi kits.
