The 604 is easy to repair and easy to make good, but stock they are garbage.

What do you mean stock? If you repair it or "make good" it, you'll be back to stock parts and performance anyway? As long as it's not broken and/or in limp mode, its great! And that includes from the factory. They still make the 604 w00t!
