#1, DOHC is NOT 222. Its severely overrated.
#2 Twisted hit it on the head. Stating HP numbers aloe wont tell you who would win a race. My semi modded (read bolt ons) has run a faster time that some DOHC mtx's. The DOHC still has more HP yet my car is quicker..... you get the point.
#3 Racing wont damage your internals

in my opinion its not worth the internal damage to ur car. unless lots of money was involved then inthat case go for and teach him not to mess with a 3000gt. play with fire and you will get burned.

How exactly could you explain messing up internals from nitro, nitrous is completely safe if used wisely with enough fuel just like using forced induction without the right amount of fuel- rod knock, which would be messing up internals too. As long as you use the reccommended amount of nitrous to fuel ratio, nitrous is completely safe to use it is nothing more than a liquid/gas form of forced induction........
