Spewing out hate over what "the other guy drives" is kind of pointless when we're discussing models, which are a creative/artistic expression of one's love for cars in general.

In other words, unless it has to do with a model or modelling issue, I don't really give a rat's ass what you hate or why (because no matter what the intent it always comes across as immature behavior)...I'd much rather hear something positive-talk about or show us what you like. A friendly little jab here or there is fine, but tone down the hate-speech, especially in a forum where you know the majority like what you are dissing. The cartoon is funny, because it's satire...but there are those who take it as gospel and take it far too seriously. In other words, this whole thread could have been so much different if the cartoon had been presented as "this is pretty funny" and left it at that.

I'm not gonig to go and bash, flame and insult you here, because I like BOTH. I see nothing wrong with a nice civic lowered with a body kit and simple paintjob, in my eyes it looks good and I can appreciate all the hardwork some of these "ricers" put into their rides. I also love muscle, which is why I am rebuilding a 1980 TransAm right now. There is nothing like the sound of 450hp rumbling through your vein's, especially when you wind that baby up!.

I just wish people like you would choose to think before they speak, or type rather. You people give AF.com a bad name, and a bad reputation. You are what prevent's good people from staying on this site, so delete that link, edit you r post, do whatever you can to try and at least save your image, because the past few post's you've made have been depleting it, and soon nobody is going to care the littlest bit if you were to die today, or tomorrow.

Thats great that there are a few... but he failed to mention what the cost of all the mods are to get those cars that fast. In most cases its cheaper and easier to mod a Domestic car.


Lets tone it down a bit lets say 11s. Sure there tons of civics and integras but how many run 11s? Not many, big deal! To each his own.

Why cant you just respect what the other person likes without having to ram your own veiws down that persons throat.
I've been on both sides of the fence.
Ive owned a rip snorting V8 that i raced on the quarter and had a ball with, and wouldn't change if i had to do it all over again.....but now i've got into the import scene as thats what i like at the moment.
Hell, if i had the money i'd still go out and buy a Chevelle/Mustang etc if i could.
This is were the sport of cars really sucks arse when people have tunnell vision and are not prepaird to view any other makes/models etc because it doesent suit THERE own taste's
Learn to respect what the person is doing for the sport and not what he owns.
