Re: Revell Cobra 427 S/C

This is really coming along nicely, I know you said the hood will be closed, but maybe you could put a light wash on the carb? It seems a little out of place on the otherwise nicely wired engine. Or maybe there is an airfilter going on top, so then I guess it wouldn't really make any difference then. Very nice job with the decals and that great blue. Looking forward to the clearing.

There will be a chrome air cleaner on it. That gold looks like crap and definitely needs a wash.

Update on the interior. It's pretty much finished. This is the best interior I've done yet. Kinda has to be since it will all be seen.

Shot the clear today. It started to curl some of the decals, but it worked itself out. Few minor imperfections, but show a model which doesn't!!! OK, there are quite a few on this forum that are flawless. You know who you are.

The clear out of the can came out pretty nicely. It will need some wetsanding and a good polish, but I'm pretty happy with it. There was one small run, but it will polish out just fine.

Thanks!

And I thought the blue looked good before, wow. That is one fine interior, its excellent. The gauges and bezels are so crisp.

Love that colour blue, looks excellent with the clear on it. I like the blue pinstripe on the tyre. As regards the wheels, I prefer alloy knockoffs, and I painted my wheel centres gold, which I really like.

Re: Revell Cobra 427 S/C

Your work on the dashboard looks awesome, the gauge bezels look great!
On the interiors it seems that the handbrake lever needs some paint in the handle.
And the paint job looks terrific also!

Keep us posted
