It's probably a good idea to drop the extra couple hundred to put some good pistons in it as well, I wouldn't trust stock pistons to handle the extra stress of the supercharger.

I'd check out what people are doing with Syclones and Typhoons, they were making 280hp stock out of those engines, and all the parts are available through your local GM dealer
I can get a complete "kit" that comes with everything you need, and I mean everything, from Vortech with intercooler for 3K. And pick up almost 100rwhp from it on 4psi. I don't know about imports, but for late model domestics the S/C kits you can buy are made for a specific year and car platform.

Syclones and Typhoons are from the last generation of the S Truck series, and use a 4.3L turbo V6 combined with AWD.

I'll take a Syclone or Typhoon anyday. That would be an awesome winter driver...

..

well all I gotta say is, we'll see. Regardless on what I decide I'm going to ask Procharger about the whole thing and see if its even worth it. Procharger is the only one so far that offers a Supercharger and Intercooler kit for the 99+ 4.3L V6.

100 rwhp on a S10 from 4 psi? Explain to me how that works...

Yes, Syclones were the previous generation, but you should still be able to build a similar engine, using many of the same parts.
