i have no idea of where you herd of a lancer eating a grea box after a gear box but i definatly know that the subaruu (the first ones) had (the current model is not much stronger) a problem with the clutch an gear box my neighbour has an lancer evo 3 an his gear box is not showin any signs of wear (an he isn't a normal driver he floors its wen ever he can lol :sun: ) an the 32 skyline is pretty quick at a 13 sec quarter mile run(thats in standered form)

my vote goes for the skyline(only because i have never been in a or seen a lancia delta integrale) but as far as im conserned a skyline would kick a cosie or a evo thanx to a 13 sec 1/4 mile run. but i am not sure about the lancia if ne 1 has any specs or 1/4 mile runs, 0-100 would be nice

1/4 mile times don't mean shit.
There is more to a cars performance than how fast it can acclerate over 400m.

If they did mean something then a Ferrari or Lotus or other exotic would not be considered that great a car.

I couldnt agree more.

However as this person has no idea of the kind of grunt an Integrale EVO can generate, here are the figures:

210bhp (EVO1)
215bhp (EVO2)
0-60: 5.7s
0-100: -
1/4 mile - low 14's
137mph

and handling to top any 4wd car on top of those stats. Its the only winner here

Lancia Delta Integrale EVO

shit?!?! 3 gear boxes???fark...... well i now from u guys the lancia is lyk the best 4wd drive cxar in handeling but then again handeling isn't it all 1/4 0-100 handeling braking an so on they all mater otherwise u could have a great handler but the car could be slow as (now that wouldn't be good) it works both ways so to get a great car u have to have them all to make a truely great car. now im not sayin the lancia doesnt have the above but i definatly no that the skyline has good brakin an aceleration but the 4wd is bad an doesn't chatch on quick enough resultin in drifts an slower times(that is if u are on the trak) but i now how to fix that. my vote still stays with the skyline

and any way the skyline isn't just about speed an aceleration in its time in the gtjc no one wanted to enter cause the skyline would kick them (hence the name godzla was given to it) (wen i say other people i mean other car brands) the skyline was so good it got kicked from ausie races and had weight penilties in japan cause it was so farken fast. the reason for that was because the rb26dett was made for hard tuning an high out puts.(thats y 9 sec gtrs aren't that rare lol)

I'd vote for the Lancia Delta. Fabulous on little roads. Extraordinarly handling. It won many Monte Carlo.

Well i gave you the acceleration figures i have, an EVO matches an R33 Skyline for acceleration, less powerful (215) but considerably lighter (resulting in the great handling)

Brakes on the Lancia are very good. Dont forget, this is a rally car. It has to accelerate hard, brake hard, and corner well. It excels at all these requirements. As Stefanel1 says, its outstanding on winding, twisty roads. A match for anything, bar maybe a 911 Turbo, but then again those leave everything in their wake so nothing to be ashamed of..

Im a fan of Skylines, more the R32 and R33 than the R34, which i dont really like, but the Integrale is the one for me

Somebody who doesn't know The Integrale cannot know that it's the best

The national makers are doing cars for their main custommers : american cars have bad handling because they drive slow. An the opposite, there are italian cars !
