I have a friend in KC with a GNX that is pretty badass. On the back window it says, "You've just been passed by a girl".

The late 80's five litre mustangs dominated the streets in those days, and the modded ones still do so today.
The Grand National and Turbo Regals were/are bad ass cars. Exhaust, bigger injectors and raised boost with traction has put those cars in the 11's. Thats about $1000 in mods. As for the original kill story, good job on beating a 4 cylinder mustang. That "mustang" owner must be a ricer at heart if he actually had all that shit in his car.

Re: 2K Civic vs. assed up mustang
The 80's were some good times, well at least teh late 80's anyways. The early 80's were only good for music, like Iron Maiden, hell yeah. But the later 5.0 litre Mustangs are quick as hell. I own an 87 and it is amazing how much power you can get outta only a few mods. As for the Grand National, I wouldn't line up with one of those, turboed and 13's out teh factory, sounds like a whippin to me. My friend has one, his dad owns a speedshop, and he loves it.
