Thats in KW, though
I cant really tell which is torque and which is hp, as its NM and KW.
But, 425Kw is about 315hp.

I didn't see that was in kW, well even better, 425kW is about 570hp.
Mr. Dahlback said the engine puts out over 900hp, but the car has tacktion problems on the dyno over 5000 rpm.

Just double checked, I read the wrong chart. I was thinking it looked wrong.....So yes, its in the mid to upper 500hp range.

And it would still be fairly light... drool.....I want one. Now.

What do you think the top speed would be?

That would depend on gearing, but I wouldn't want to go more than 150mph in a Super 7, it's not exactly the most aerodynamic shape, and would probably be pretty unstable...

Also, it's not a completely sealed cabin, so I'd say 120mph would be safe... getting there in 7 seconds, that's a different story

My lugnut requires more torque than your LS1 makes.

Super7's were never about top speed, and I am in agreement with that mentality. Its all about the acceleration and handling, IMO.

Like the westfield XTR that beat a pagani Zonda, it could accelerate so much faster, and go round corners faster as well.

Exactly! If you wanted a car for doing 120+ mph, you'd probably want a roof on it

Hehehe, and now a special treat for the few of us that frequent this forum

BTW, that is the slower TVR Cerbera, it makes 380bhp or so. The new 4.5 makes 450bhp, I believe.

Yes, but so does the Caterham R500, Westfield Mega Busa, Tiger Z100 and all other Lotus 7 clones.
