**who Believes In God**

so far everything i read from MBTN has been so STUPID! (in this thread)

this is if you believe in GOD or a higher power, not religion. even though that's basically religion. If there's no God, why are you here? Who made you? hmmmm, answer THAT smart guy

God doesn't do anything to this earth! He just started it and he's gunna let it play out, i think of it as a test, he just wants to see it played out. He wants to see how we handle things, everything that happens is HUMAN fault... he's just up their watching IMO

if everything would be perfect on earth then nobody would want to go to heaven! that's the point, it's a reward

and i think everybody in the world that believes in any religion, believes of a higher power, so we're basically all worshipping the same God, we just all have different names for him.

I'm not the greatest person on earth, i probably sin everyday... but God is all about forgiveness. I think that even some murderers could go to heaven, as long as he realizes and truelly believes what he did wrong before he died, then God will forgive and the gates of heaven will be open to him.

MBTN i really feel sorry for you, that you have no faith.... it must suck having nothing to look forward to

Jesus died for MY and YOUR sins. Who says we'll serve in heaven? Paul writes that one day we will judge the angels! (BTW, I'm not totally certain what that means, but he does say that and it does hint at humans having authority in heaven.) It's just amazing to me that 2,000 years ago a man was executed and his blood saves me, a small guy 2,000 years later. Just Wow. God is amazing... Sorry you don't see it that way...

Everybody believes in some religion or another. Religion is based on faith (believing in something that nobody has or can definately prove). Christianity is based on faith that God exists, but atheism is based on faith in evolution. Both are religions. Everyone believes in something.

But I know what you mean gang$tarr, having a God you can believe in is good, even if it's just purely for something to believe in.

i think sayin atheism is a religion that believes in evolution is bullshit... okay, so we evolved, sure that could be right, i'm almost sure that's right but who put the things that evolve on the earth??? it's so obvious! I higher power, whatever you wanna call it God, Allah, etc.

First off, my parents made me.

This is how I feel:

Let's say for a brief moment I think god exists. Then god gave me the power to think, he didn't give this power to any other creature; this is why humans are smart. Since he gave us the power to think, then he also gave us the power to question him. So here I am, questioning his existence, and I don't think he does exist. And if one day I do think he does exist, then I HATE him.

Dude, If one day I see that he exists, I'll hate him, because he allows innocent people to die. Because he's selfish and he wants them. If he's going to kill us anyway, then why does he show no mercy and let us suffer through life.

When the sperm penetrates the egg, a zygote is formed and so forth...
I answere the question, that is the way I was made. I can't possibly say god made me because he didn't, life made me.

Who made god? Let me ask you that. Can you answer that?
