Re: Mitsu Lancer WRC '05 : GiGi Galli Tour de Corse 2005

Hey, congrats on obtaining your degree.
And better still, good to see you continuing this build.

Looks very good so far. And I like your modifications of the fuel tank and the co-driver screen.

What's that with the wheel in the 5th picture ? It looks damaged (at the bottom)...

Looking forward to your next update !!

In fact, the white metal is very smove and so in this wheel there is a damage.

But is it not important because in reality the wheels are often broken so it's a good details . Look this example :

I was about to mention that it looked like your car already had an encounter with a rock or two

Keep up the great work.

Re: Mitsu Lancer WRC '05 : GiGi Galli Tour de Corse 2005

Hi

Little update to show the body with is decoration

The ST27 decals are wonderful : very nice, easy to apply, resistant. A pleasure to realize the deco.

Like I said at the begin of this thread, I make the Tour de Corse version to make the Galli's car (my favourite pilot ! runaround )so i have to make some modifications on the decal especially the rally numbers and plates.

I used Renaissance decal for rally plates and to do n°18, i made a mix between Renaissance and the n° 8 of Martin's car during the Monte-Carlo 2005 (307 WRC Tamiya).

The decals Mobil 1 are present too in this rally. They replace Hotwheels Racing.

To finish, under the "aileron" (sorry I forget the traduction ), the decals "Ricardo" and "Eibach" are invert in Tour de Corse compare to Monte-Carlo version

It's all for today, the next update very soon !

Regards

Re: Mitsu Lancer WRC '05 : GiGi Galli Tour de Corse 2005

Very nice work. I`m learning a lot of your progress as I have this kit + TK in my "project shelf". Only one question about process (it`s where I`m just now).
Have you modified front part of chassis (white plastic part) for alignment with inner part of front wheel arc body?

Re: Mitsu Lancer WRC '05 : GiGi Galli Tour de Corse 2005

In the chassis (Tamiya white part) I had just cut little parts like the notice said.

I hope that it's what you meant

Dear "LOEB" (maybe SEB )

Thank you for information. My question was more referred to solve problem TVD show perfectly with pictures 9+10+11. Have you seen his report? I`m sure you did.

I`m also expectant for your progress.
