Any additional weight transfer you put through the body with a stiffer bar will just flex the body that much more. Not dangerous or damaging, just know that tidbit so you don't expect too much from its handling.

Becareful here, because there are Corollas, and there are Corollas.
Some might just surprise you with just how well they handle. It is however very model and country of manufacture dependent.

LOL
Iv crewed on a MK1 Escort Rally car (a real one from the 60s) that kept cracking the A pillar at the base of the front window. It finished several tarmac events with only the cage holding the body together. The suspension was simply to tight for old flexible body shell.

Re: sway bars

Our K car eventually went to the scrap yard after the front engine mount tore the sheetmetal off allowing the engine cradle to walk the wheels forward without the car. That 86 hp was too much for it to handle.

There was one day when we opened the driver's door and the top hinge ripped the sheet metal out of the door jamb and the door just gently set down on the pavement.

We better quit bashing Kcars or Polygon might come slap us

One of my workmates is hell bent on putting a windsor V8 into a Mk 1 escort.
He's in for a world of headaches.
It'll be very cool if he can finish the project though.
