Hehe, it's good to have you back... Especially with a car like that...
I'm sure there will be a lot of stories that will involve this automotive masterpiece, right?

Re: I've been gone for a long time, but this is what i've been working on ( new car )

My name is DinanM3_S2, and I approve of this car.

The NSX has to be one of my favorite Japanese cars of all time. I don't care how expensive they are relative to the power they put down, they are awesome awesome awesome cars. I have tons of respect for anyone that buys one. Buying an NSX is akin to buying a Lotus Elise- no, it isn't a terribly powerful car, but the way is handles is astonishingly good. It is one of the few Japanese cars that I think will become a classic. It was the car that gave Ferrari and Porsche a good scare. The quality of modern high end sports cars has to be attributed to the standards that Honda set with the NSX.

You might want to look around for Gordon Murray's (the McLaren F1's designer) article on the NSX. He praises what it did for the modern supercar. Clarkson also has an article where he says that it is the best car ever made because of the way it combines near-supercar performance with Honda usability.

Respect

Is it wrong that everytime I log on I come to this thread just to glance over the pictures of the NSX?
Oh well, at least it's good to see that I'm not the only one that drools over this car.

Re: I've been gone for a long time, but this is what i've been working on ( new car )

lol killa. very nice car tat. i remember growing up, i was about 4, and i already knew what a nsx was. i guess i was a car guy right out of the womb. sweet deal on it as well. its not that easy to find nsx's under 30k. but, there have been a couple around here that have sold for about 26k. but they had a bunch of miles on them.

i still love the car. in all the 'racing' video games, i'd make sure to save up to buy the nsx, despite the price. its too bad they discontinued it, as i wanted to actually buy one one of these days.

Awesome car. Hearing personal reviews on the car make it that much more desirable to me. If you don't mind me asking, how much is insurance on a car like that? I am happy for you. It sounds like an awesome car to drive.

Hmm, that's a good question I never though of asking (you can' blame me, I was way too much into the car itself to come up with questions, and you know it! )...
But now since he asked, it's gotten me very curious.
So what is the insurance on that car, both ways - guessing that's what you have.

They are actually planning on coming out with a new one, but I don't think I'm going to like it as much. According to C&D it will be a front engined, RWD or AWD, V8 powered, grand tourer to compete with the likes of the upcoming Lexus LF-A, and to a lesser extent the BMW 650i/M6 and Benz CL-Class. From a sales perspective that probably makes sense, but I think car enthusiasts will be dissapointed by it. There is just something special about mid-engined cars.
