According to car-stats.com, they claimed that the s200 can do 1/4 in 13.8 sec. So that's pretty close.

Man, that's about what it cost for me to set this car up! But I could never put a price on my labor "priceless". Lucky honda owners! Just open a magazine and order spoon engines and everything. No matter, I chose my weapon and will stand by it till the end

that is pretty close, but I don't always trust what car-stats.com says considering they claim the spec-v does the quarter in 15.7 and I know a guy who did it in 15 flat completely stock....

man spoon engines are so expensive plus, correct me if I'm wrong, spoon doesn't even build drag cars and draging is what most ricers will only do. I wish my car can take a s200.

hehehe I knew you guys are going to ask about it. that's a Toyota Chaser, it's one of the japan only cars It's got a 1jz-gte in it (that's the Toyota version of the rb26dett, 2.5L inline 6 twin turbo). It competes with nissan turbo gloria's and things like that in japan. It is one of the fastest japanese sedans ever made. I have in as my sig cause I read about it all the time when I was small (I lived in HK and chasers are a big hype there, unfortunely, HK doesn't get to sale them in showrooms either, but people do import them on rare occasions.) an I think it's the sickest looking sedan.

Settle down guys. First off, I have no problem to a modified sentra beating an S2000. Hell, a modified pinto could beat an S2000 for all I care.

That's debateable. I don't know nissan engines all the greatest, so I can't comment. But I know honda engines. Their B16A, B18C, and F20C engines come with forged cranks, capable of taking 600+ HP stock. The B18C5 and F20C have forged internals stock and even come ported and polished from the factory. The F20C can take 10+ psi with stock internals and that's WITH 11:1 compression N/A.

a bone stock s2000 runs high 13s, and it's not even geared for the 1/4 mile, it's gearing is set up for high speed road courses. From a roll these cars pull very hard, and if you've never slammed 1st - 6th straight through on an s2000 from 0 - 155mph then you can't say shit about VTEC not being a force. your highly modded cars can do 160? our S2000 does over 160 bone stock! mmm...gearing is nice. ANY car can be made to run 10s cheap as long as it came from japan in the early 90s. Not saying anything is better here, just stating some straight up facts.

I've seen 162mph (indicated) with the top up on a level surface. Others have done the same... even 163 or 164 I think. I know the one guy topped out at 170mph... but he was SC'd.

come on guys, why are we having this stupid arguement. we have no respect for rice boys, not honda owners. They are import euthuiasts just like us nissan owners. nobody is better. honda guys can build a 5,000 (pls do not argue this, it's just an example) dollar civic to beat a 350z too, now does that mean that the civic is better because it's cheaper? please stop this and let's move on to talk about something useful.
