Re: AF group build - VTEC powered Super7

Another update opcorn: opcorn:

I shortened the rearmost part (whatever it is called, it holds the license plate) and added a diffusor in the process.
I think a little downforce is in order with the VTEC engine

I also finished the rear axle. It is painted black, with some chrome silver accents. I personally like how the springs came out

Well, all for now...next update will be tomorrow.

Cheers
Sebastian

I know what you mean! These kit coils paint up really well and almost look like real springs.

I was debating whether to scrtach some for my S7 but I just ran a black sharpie over the rasied edge of the kit part and it looks great too IMO.

Re: AF group build - VTEC powered Super7

I finally found some time to work on the VTEC powered 7 again. The deadline extension is a good thing

Well, I painted the body gloss black and the sides BMW Delphin Metallic. I added a battery and a fire extinguisher to the interior, installed the seat, seatbelts and the rollbar.

I will work some more on it today, but can't promise pictures as the sun is setting soon

On to the pics....

Thanks for watching. Comments welcome.

Greetz

Re: AF group build - VTEC powered Super7

Outstanding Sebastian!

It looks truly great (not to mention clean )

Could you share some more info about how you made that seat? The material looks very interesting as does the kelvar(?) effect

Re: AF group build - VTEC powered Super7

Almost finished

I took a couple of shots to show the 7 before the still missing parts are fitted.

As I couldn't fit a larger radiator, I decided to add a big fan.

Enjoy....

I will update soon....stay tuned!

Sebastian
