The link for the Civic with exhaust, is that Thermal Exhaust also? Cuz it sounds a little whiny and hurt. Just lemme know cuz the 91 zc sounds pretty good, just not the other one. Thanx

Thermal R&D for Civic's - under $400 - maybe this is it John?
Yeah, but r they a reliable site? I'd probly just go with landspeedracing, cuz i know about them. But im still deciding.

Well i can't say much about skunk2's since there new. My friend has a thermal cat back on his 2000 civic ex. It sounded good but after a year or so it starting to sound shitty. I heard lots of good stuff about dc sports. Don't get me wrong on the thermal they are good but the sound is gonna change after awhile. Not sure about any other exhaust but as far as i know about the thermal its true.

as good as ever... after about the first week of driving it the pitch changed to a much deeper tone and its been great since... what intake and header is he running... between my combo of Iceman intake DC-Sports 4-2-1 header and thermal my car sounds wonderful, its not all too loud at idle but it has a nice burble to it and then when i get on it *drool* i love it, cept for the fact on day as i was pulling away my grams heard me accelerate through 5th gear on this one road... opps

Mine is fine after 2 1/2 years as well Sounds as good if not better than the day I got it. Your friend can call thermal and have them replace the muffler. That is most likely the culprit unless he has a gutted catalytic converter.

He has iceman intake and dc headers hehe. Anyways he didn't gut his cat though. I'll tell him to call thermal and see if he can get it replace? His older brother said its normal though? Oh well.

Well, the only problem i have with the Thermal exhaust is the tip, doesnt look as pretty as the skunk2 which is cut at an angle. does it look better than in the pic? Also, performance gain wise, do u think it would be about as good as the skunk2? Thanx all

i've personally never saw the skunk 2, but i think it looks great, however that is just my opinion, and if you really don't like it you could always cut the tip off and have some one weld on a new tip... and thermal is said to be about the best on the market that is under a grand, but i've never had it on a dyno to actually test it out...
