1. 240sx are bought, riced out, and crashed daily. i bet in 50 years there will be more stealths on the road than 240s.
2. the 3000GT vr4 is better in every aspect than the stealth. dont preach all this knowhow just because you own a heavy POS thats not all that cool. the two companies didnt come together to make a kickass sports car. mitsu sold chrysler the rights to make a 3000gt clone, and it was worse in every way than the 3000gt. when my 240 is running, ill make a trip personally out to jersey to show you and your stealth a little humility.

Yeah, plus a 3800 lbs. car can't stop for shit, that's why 3/S cars lost so many sales to the Supra, RX-7, and especially the 300ZX. Of course that wouldn't have mattered too much for the Stealth R/T Turbo if only it had the 3000GT's Active Aero Management for better stability and accelleration

by ur name nismogt rfreak, u'd relize that u also mocked ur gtr on stopping power too, they are the same car in terms of weight. my car is nt modded, i dnt have a awd dyno in the area, so i dnt know wat it gets to the ground, i just lisst wat it was by manufactures. yea and in 50yrs, there will be far fewer 240sx's out on the rd, but thats because ppl arent afraid to crash a 240, a stealth or 3000gt are far fewer and can hold sentamental value.
the stealth can do 0-60 in 5 flat and quater at 13.2, thats the same for the rest of the class. also the stealth and vr4 ddnt sell because of looks it ddnt sesll because it had way too much tech for 34g, the surpa was a proven car and had a fr setup, as was the 300, and the rx7 engine and rear end is a piece of shit, i asked a guy with an rx7 to drag, he said and i quote, i'm afraid either the motor will blow, or the rear will break.

and the 240sx is not a z car, its an s car, dumbass, the 240Z is a z car, the 240 is a s car in japan, the 300zx and 350 are z cars in japan, once again anyone with a brain would know that

When the hell did I ever say the 240sx was a Z car? I said the 300ZX sold more. Plus, a GT-R does NOT weigh 3800 pounds and the later, heavier models also came with beefier Brembo brakes from the factory.

um, the 1st gen stealths R/T ran a 14.2 on average. i dont know where you are getting your numbers at, but it seems like your trying to BS on here. If you want to run your vr4/rt against my car feel free to fly up to washington Id just stop talking where your at. its going no where and could be resulting in ban if you dont watch what you say. keep it cool, post nicely!

yeah...no offense kid, but your stealth, while not a bad car, isnt all that you think it is. skylines weigh about 3400 lbs. and they run low 13s stock. 3/s cars weigh 3800+ and run low 14s stock. why do you think there arent any 3/s cars that get dragged hardcore? if you think im wrong, show me a 3/s that runs under 9.9

and 240sx get crashed more because they are cheaper. they were cheaper new and are cheaper used. ricebois wouldnt even exist if civics cost 40k brand new.

Actually, I think 3SX performance had a 9 second FWD Stealth. Frankly, despite all of the crap from the factory to make it handle better, it's still better off as a drag car and it really doesn't excel at that either. But dude, considering that the first thing you brought up were straight line acceleration figures, you'r stuck in the diamond-star mindset where drag is everything. And here you are, preaching a drag car to a group made up primarily of drifters, road racers, and autocrossers.

no duh, i was basing it on its heritage twat waffle as the S chassis doesnt have that huge of a background in america. But the Z cars have a better known background. As i thought i made clear by saying in my first post that its not labeled a zx....or z series durrrr. You are a dumbass.

Yea thats why everyone talks about stealths. We all must of missed its great racing prowess in history.

The gtr is a joke everyone, it was just a stealth in gtr clothing.(hence STEALTH....it fooled us ALL!!!!!)

only the es rt and the base were fwd, the tt was awd. yes there are cars in the stealths class that can beat it. its not a pos, its a car that i like, i've tracked the stealth its a good car, its not a ferrari or porsche, but it can hold its own. the gtr is known bc of vid games, nobody in america would know it without the games. go to japan, and u kind find supra fucking with the gtr. its nothing great, its an average car that can handle well.
gtr stats r the same as the stealth, dodge never raced the stealth, i dnt think mitsu raced the 3k, the gto may have been, at that point in time, road rally racing wasnt big in america, but in japan, it was. as of right now it still isnt big here, just a lil more popular. drifting probably holds more attraction. also i believe that the gtr was limited to 135mph, the stealth around 155, g, sounds like the gtr wasnt made with the parts to handle higher speeds.
everyone knows that there are many different ways to add value or keep value to a car, i prefer stock, some modified cars do well in sales, y have companies like saleen, which sell mustang gt's will more balls, and a body kit, if modded cars werent wanted.
the stealth fits into the niche of people that want power but the handling of awd, i do have to say the aws is kinda useless.
all i wanted to know is if the 240sx would be a car that can be driven everyday, and not consume gas like theres no 2morrow? and the reason i asked if there are stock 240's, like u said, they are easy to toy with, engine is built strong, i think 300hp it can take b4 doing serious upgrades.
and yes hondas do run fwd, but if u did research on the stealth, u'd know that wen it was produced dodge and mitsu wanted a car that all types of people could afford, and fwd is a lot easier and cheaper than rwd, especially wen all mitsu's at the time were fwd. its called spreading the cost of a chassis or car type out among the line-up, making it cheaper overall, hence the new camaro, and the rwd impala ss. and yea this is probably the last post on this 240 forum, i've gotten wat i need to know about hte 240.
