i live so damned far from everything, i hate it. i need to find people to celebrate with, i don't know anyone from my town because i went away for school and lost touch with everyone here. all my friends are out of town, bastards, and i'm left all alone with nothing to do.

AND, I am doing NOTHING, just like back in the day when I was still in school.

I'm flying solo for the first time in years, and I made plans, but now it's "boys night out" so I got uninvited from the plans I had made. I could go out, but I'd rather sit and sulk alone.

Well...

I've got to head back to college tommorow, out of town, leaving early, so a night of partying isnt in my plans, which sucks.

So, Im gonna go over to a friends house, probably just sit around and play video games, have a couple beers, then call the girl I'm seeing at midnight.

so i'm completely sober, other than those two glasses of champagne but those don't do anything. i pretty much had a friend over, we watched two movies, shawn of the dead and office space, drank a bit of champagne, played some halo 2, and now i'm off to bed.

Ha, I passed out until the AH neighbors started setting off a 20-minute string of fireworks (despite the pouring down rain). Then the dog started freaking out so I had to hold him and pet him until about 12:30am when the noise died down.

All in all, a superiorly crappy night.

I decided at about 11:15 that I wanted to go watch fireworks on the Thames, so Chris and I got up and went out. As it turns out, all the tube stations closest to the fireworks were closed, so at 11:59 I was in a crowd of people, walking up a flight of stairs to leave the station...

So, there I was, able to make the best of the situation and laugh, with someone who most certainly was not.

And I wasn't drunk either.
