Fellas, I have just the site for you. You know how Hobby Link Japan ships kits straight from Japan without having a middle man taking his cut? Well I know a Japanese site all in english that sells Hyper Rev books for about $26 US dollars shipped! I have three. They also sell everything else from kits, bonnets, videos, etc. http://www.takakaira.com Highly Recomended by Spoonman dos.

There is an area north of Mong Kok that has a shopping centre full of Japanese Book shops, if I find the address i'll PM/email you.
Also in Mong Kok are all the Model shops. Last time I was there I sent 1 big box back the the UK, but the postage was very high therefore not really make it worth will, but supplies are cheap.

Strangely enough that question has some relevance again now, it was posted a while back! The G/F is off to HK again soon so i'll see if she can pick up some things for my b/day
