What the hell? The ultimate... nothing can beat it without a turbo? There are other stock cars that will.

Re: "Slowass" got humbled

Now the rumors start from the local guys...

Most seem to think there is a bottle on that Z06.
I can't verify that though. I did a quick overlook of the car and didn't see anything.

Re: "Slowass" got humbled

Very nice run Luos... And a great vid to go with it... Two bad ass cars battleing it out out there, nothing comes close to that... Can't wait to hear the outcome of the next race between you two... Make sure to get a vid of that too...

P.S: I love the sounds in that vid, and I can't get enough of it!

Re: "Slowass" got humbled

lol. i think eps is falling off the deep end, or one of his friends or siblings are taking advantage of his 'saved login stuff' to his account. he has some pretty good things to say, when its him or he's not drunk or something. thats a pretty good shirt. i'd for sure chip in.

Re: "Slowass" got humbled

eps sounds like a ricer fanboy, except for a z06 instead of a civic. he didnt get worked, he got beat by 2 cars. and since when did a engine have to have a turbo to have more than 505hp? there are lots of v8's out there that can get more than that on motor, and beat a z06 on all motor. not likely to find many stock, but what does that matter, luos isnt stock. if i can ever get my dream mustang, '68 with a 427, ill be making more power than that easy. build that 427 some and we'll be in buisness.

I believe those Z06's trap 120+ in the 1/4 from the factory. Based on how many car lengths he beat you buy and what your car could usually trap at the track (118mph in track trim)...i'd venture to say that the z06 is mostly likely not on the bottle. he got you by 2 lengths, you presume 115mph with all the weight you had on your car. With the way the videos went, just my opinion but i say the Z06 is all motor. Close races though, i know i couldn't hang with the new Z06's like that. Sweet ride Mr. Lous.

Re: "Slowass" got humbled

I agree.
I trap 117.59 here at 5800 feet on the drag wheels. 114-115 on the heavy wheels.
From what I understand, the new Z06 traps 115-116 here (same altitude).
This is why there are people saying there may have been a bottle on it.

I have also heard (heard being the key word here) that the newer cars computers adjust better for the lack of air at this altitude. Not sure how valid that is though.

I guess the fastest stock Z06 has trapped 128MPH with a -850 DA. That is smoking. 10.85 ET.
I think I have a 10 second car at sea level. But I haven't done it, so I need to before I claim it.
