you dont have a mitsu trans you have a chrysler trans. The trans on the 4g has held into the 10s and I know the 420a neons can hangle 500+hp on the stock trans but I dont know about eclipses

You seem to have left that little piece of information out. I change my answer now. Unless you build that motor up, it won't last long now that you turboed it and want to run nitrous. The 420a just won't handle it unless built right.

Re: 420a engine

Drop the compression a couple points too when you build it. Right now you got a high compression engine running boost and if sprayed, will blow something up. That's more then a stock 420a can handle from the factory.

Yeah, I agree with Dave. I would probably go 8.5:1, that seems to be a pretty good number.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.

The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.
