Nice work man. I really like the build quality of that model. My buddy has the green F&TF Eclipse model. It is a great 2g model!

I like what your doing with it so far, but I think you should have gone with a stock 2gb body kit. Otherwise I love it.

This beast will have a sleeper fraternal twin Same engine and drivetrain mods, if not more, but a stock exterior and a semi-stock interior

I need some help as far as the wiring goes, right now I've got the Magnus Motorsports manifold pretty well worked out, I'm working on the fuel injectors and rail and the nitrous wet jets. I need to make a wiring harness so I can mock up the rest of the engine detailing, but I don't know the location of all the snesors or the routing of the wiring harnesses, and my knowledge of automotive electronics is remedial at best. So I drew up this diagram as best I could, with the locations of major components and the locations of sensors and such that I do know. I need help filling in what's in between. Soory you can't read it very well, photobucket changed it from a .bmp to a .jpg and it screwed it up. Let's see, you can't really read Firewall, TPS, cruise actuator, alternator, or fan...

Could ya help me out? I need to fill in the wiring harness so that it's somewhat looped, and if you can provide the locations of more sensors, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks guys, I'll keep you posted

Any takers on the diagram? I'd like to start on the wiring harness this weekend. I found a technique to make simulated convoluted tubing, looks like the real deal if you do it right. C'mon, you know you want to see it... I'll need some help, first, though

Thanks guys

What do you really need here? It looks like you have most of the wiring in the correct areas. You just need to connect them and that will be pretty close to the stock position...

Well, I've seen pictures of a DSM without the engine, and there's a big tangle of wiring harness(es?) all over the place. There has to be more sensors than what I showed, and I don't know where everything connects. Like does the harness to/from the ECU hook up with the injector harness near the firewall, somewhere else, or is there another harness it connects with first? I'm truly clueless when it comes to this, I can olny make out so much from the pics I have...

If you were to go out to your car, find the wiring from the ECU thru the firewall and follow it with your hand, where does it go to? Are there many branches off of it? Is there just one harness or are there several small ones? Where do the second power and ground wires from the battery lead to? Where to the smaller wires from the starter solenoid lead (in respect to the rest of the engien bay)? I'm still not entirely sure how the alternator is connected to the battery... How about the signal wire for the coil pack?

These are teh kind of things I don't know and am hoping you guys can help me with It looks like a lot, but if someone could take 10 minutes this weekend and jot down some notes of the locations, connections, and routing of these things, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you! I'll hopefully get some more finished this weekend...

Re: The 1:25 scale DSM monster returns... again...

The other sensors are the speed sensor on the back on the tranny, knock sensor on the back of the block, there is another wire from the starter to the wire harness, IAC, ac if your putting that in, egr and evap if your including emmisions, power transistor for the coil, thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Re: The 1:25 scale DSM monster returns... again...

I can try to get you some pictures of the wiring harness as it sets in the car without the motor so you can see a little more details to it and where it goes... I'll try and get it tomorrow morning or Monday morning before work.
